Good health is the foundation of a strong and prosperous society. In Koboko County, too many families still struggle to access quality healthcare due to distance, poor infrastructure, lack of medical supplies, and under-resourced facilities. As your Member of Parliament, I will advocate fiercely for improved healthcare access across Koboko County. This begins with lobbying for the upgrading of Ayipe to a Health Centre IV and Nyambiri to a Health Centre III — ensuring more people have access to skilled medical personnel, maternity services, and emergency care closer to home.
I will also prioritize essential infrastructure and utilities that support effective healthcare delivery. That means pushing for the extension of piped water to underserved parishes such as Lurujo, Lobule, Tukaliri, and Yatua, and ensuring health centers like Dricile, Oraba, and Lobule are equipped with lighting and essential power supply. I will work hand-in-hand with the Ministry of Health and development partners to secure medical equipment, staff housing, and drugs for rural health facilities. As your MP, I will use my voice in Parliament to ensure Koboko receives its fair share of the national health budget and to ensure that no mother, child, or elderly person is left behind. Healthcare is not a privilege — it is a right. Together, let’s build a healthier Koboko for all.
